BankAmericard Power Rewards Visa Signature Card APR and Fees/charges

The BankAmericard Power Rewards Credit Card is similar to other rewards cards in that it provides cardholders with a way to make money back on certain purchases. However, it differs in that it provides certain bonuses to cardholders for making particular types of purchases, as well as offering a variety of extra rewards that their other programs do not offer. The card has a standard APR of between thirteen and twenty-one percent that is applied to most aspect of the card, such as purchases, balance transfers, and direct deposits. The exact APR for a given cardholder is based on creditworthiness.

APR:

The Bank of America Power Rewards Visa Signature offers customers competitive interest rates. The APR for standard purchases and balance transfers is a low 12.99% for qualified applicants. The Bank of America adds allure to their bonus point introductory offer by providing 0% interest for the first ten billing cycles on the Bank of America Power Rewards Visa Signature card.

Other interest rates reflect credit card industry standards. Delinquent accounts accumulate interest at 27.24%. In addition to applicable fees, cash advances are subject to a 24.24% APR.

Fees/charges:

While 12.99% isn’t an extraordinary standard APR, the fact that the Bank of America Power Rewards Visa Signature card doesn’t require an annual fee more than makes up for it. The Bank of America Power Rewards Visa Signature’s cash advance fee is ridiculously high, even when compared to bloodthirsty check loan outfits—4% or $10 for a cash advance strikes us as somewhat usurious. Other fees mirror what you see on our other selections for best rewards cards: a $15-$39 late fee, a $39 over limit fee and a 3% international purchase fee.For more information visit www.bankofamerica.com
