• To activate your card you first need to sign in. If you don’t have an existing online account yet, enroll for one by locating and clicking on the START HERE link.
• Follow the on-screen prompts and instructions. This includes keying in your 15-digit card number and your 4-digit card ID for verification purposes. Continue following all instructions until your account gets enrolled.
• Now you can log in. Return to www.americanexpress.com/activate and input your User ID and password. Click on LOG IN.
