NetZero is an Internet service provider (ISP) that offers free dial-up Internet and e-mail separate from its premium broadband offerings. There is no limit to the amount of accounts you can create, although creating one account is enough to access both the dial-up and/or e-mail features. The free Internet limits you to 10 hours a month. The free e-mail supports video chat and mobile access.
Free Dial-Up
1. Use a web browser to open the netzero.net/free address. Click the "Get Started" button.
2. Enter the requested membership information. This includes your name, physical address and e-mail address. Enter the security word, agree to the terms of use and click the "Submit & Continue" button.
3. Verify that the information you entered is correct and click the "Submit" button. Check the e-mail you listed during registration to validate your account, get your personalized account information and install the dial-up client for NetZero.
Free E-mail
1. Use a web browser to open the netzero.net/freeemail address. Click the "Get Started" button.
2. Enter the requested membership information. This includes your username, physical address and e-mail address. Enter the security word, agree to the terms of use and click the "Submit & Continue" button.
3. Verify that the information you entered is correct and click the "Submit" button. Check the e-mail you listed during registration to validate your account.
4. Return to the netzero.net homepage. Click the "Sign In" button. Enter your Member ID, password and click the "Go" button to access your free NetZero account.
