Qwest is a telephone company that provides Internet and email service to its users. When you have a Qwest email account, you can set it up with information you already have, such as addresses you can import. Importing addresses is an easy process once you have logged in to your new Qwest account.

1. Log in to your Qwest email account.. Depending on your location and your computer as well as your operating system, you'll probably access Qwest email though Mozilla Thunderbird or Outlook Express.

2. Click on "Contacts" and then choose "Import contacts." Input your old email address and the password for that email address.

3. Click "Import" to import the email contacts into your account. You can also choose "Import from file" and upload a file that you've saved on your computer that contains your contact list.
