www.qwest.com- Qwest Call Forwarding Process

Qwest Communications is a telecommunications firm established by businessman Philip Anschutz in 1996. Qwest services are available in 14 states, and product offerings include satellite TV, high-speed Internet, and residential phone services. In addition to offering Qwest-branded services, the company has partnered with Verizon Wireless to sell and market mobile phone service and products under the Verizon Wireless brand as well. According to NYJobSource.com, Qwest had 850,000 wireless subscribers at the end of 2009.

The Qwest call forwarding feature is essential for anyone who is frequently away from the house and doesn't want to miss a call. It enables the user to forward calls to another landline or cell phone. Qwest call forwarding can be set up easily, in just a few minutes.

1. Pick up your landline phone receiver. Dial *72 and you will hear two beeps, then a dial tone.

2. Dial the number where you want your calls forwarded to and wait for an answer. Hang up the phone. Your calls will now be forwarded. If a call comes in before you leave, you will hear one ring and the call is then forwarded. You can answer or ignore. If you answer, this will not interfere with call forwarding.

3. Disable call forwarding by pressing *73 and wait to hear two beeps, then a dial tone on the phone.
