Sardar Patel University, the name of one of the most illustrious sons of India, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. The University at its twenty-five years of existence, has become a principal place of higher education with several unique features. The University and the town of Vallabh Vidyanagar in extending the campus, has not been created by executive order of the state or have been created by one or a few rich.
