A Harris debit card, accepted at all merchants that accept MasterCard®, is a card that works like a "plastic check". When you use it to make a purchase, the dollar amount of the transaction is deducted from your Harris personal checking account. A debit card may also be used at an ATM to make cash withdrawals from your account.
You can use your card at millions of merchants worldwide that accept Debit MasterCard®, or use it at any ATM bearing one of the network logos on the back of your card.
If you are already a Harris customer OR if you would like to become one, just stop by the nearest Harris location and speak to a personal banker for assistance. If you already are a Harris customer and you do not want to go to a Harris location, just call us at 888-340-2265 (select option 3).
Once you receive your debit card in the mail, you may activate your new card by calling 877-547-7994 and follow the voice prompts. You may also activate your new card by using it at any merchant with your PIN or at any ATM.
