www.wamu.com/activate is the homepage of WaMu activate, also known as Washington Mutual DebitCard Activation. Washington Mutual Bank, or WaMu, was taken over by JPMorgan Chase, or Chase Bank. As such, you can no longer activate a WaMu debit card. As a former Washington Mutual Bank customer, you should receive a new Chase Bank debit card in the mail. If you do not, you can contact your local Chase Bank or call 1-800-935-9935 to request a new Chase debit card.

2 ways. There is a sticker that comes on the card and you call it, type in the number, and the security code on the back and its activated. Or you can go into the bank and they can activate it.
