www.Chase.com/Creditcards - Check Chase Credit Card Application Status

Chase bank offers a variety of credit cards. Customers can apply for a credit card by mail, over the phone, at a local branch or via the Internet. If an immediate approval or denial is not given, you must wait up to 30 days for a response. Chase requires this 30-day period to obtain additional information from your credit report and make a decision. Once you are approved for a credit card, Chase will confirm the amount of credit that you are approved for and send a credit card by mail for you to activate.

1. Contact an analyst with the Chase Credit Card Service Department by phone at 800-334-0601 . Press "1," followed by "2," then "1" again.

2. Enter your nine-digit Social Security number for a status update. If an update is not immediately available and you want to know why or you wish to speak with a customer service agent about your application, press "0."

3. Provide the representative with your first and last name, Social Security number, date of birth and mother's maiden name to confirm your identity.

4. Visit a local branch to check the status of your Chase credit card application or wait 30 business days for a response to arrive in the mail, if you do not want to call the customer service line.
