The SIBM Pune conducts several management programs for students each year. Symbiosis International University constitutes of 14 Institutes. Candidates need to apply separately to each institute. SIBM Pune has ties with several companies for conducting lectures on certain selected portions of the curricula. This is done with a view to strengthen the practical knowledge of students with respect to current business trends and practices.

The Symbiosis Institute of Business Management or SIBM is India's one of the best management college established in 1978. In 2002, the HRD ministry conferred the "Deemed to be University" status on Symbiosis, and further in 2006 the UGC withdrew the word 'Deemed' and renamed the University as Symbiosis International University (SIU) through a notification.

The candidates for 2010-11 have been shortlisted based on their performance in the SNAP Test. Every institute has their separate cut off for short listing the students. SIBM Pune will publish the SNAP Test Shortlisted Candidates for Group Interaction and Personal Interaction on today ie 18th January, 2011. SIBM Pune will conduct Group Discussion and Interview of the successful candidates from January 28 to 31 and the final merit list of the aspirants of SIBM Admissions 2010 - 2011 will be displayed on February 23, 2010. The course will commence from June 7, 2010. The institute has had a 'superb' record in placements over the last few years.
