Qwest's voice mail service even eliminates the need for a conventional answering machine at home, with everything accessible from any active phone line.

1. Dial your Qwest phone number and press 7 when your voice mail greeting begins to play. If you are at home, you can dial *98 from your home phone to access your voice mail directly. Alternatively, you could also dial the personalized retrieval number you were given when your Qwest service was established. Your retrieval number can be dialed from any phone, home or away.

2. Enter your personal security code at the prompt to access your mailbox. The security code helps keep your mailbox safe and accessible only by you.

3. Your new messages will begin to play automatically. Use your phone's keypad to manage your messages and your mailbox. You can even return a call by pressing 88 while listening to the voice mail message.
